Cash Handling Representative

Role Overview:

This position focuses on delivering a best-in-class customer experience while accurately processing transactions, assisting existing and prospective customers, and supporting branch sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by delivering high quality client experiences
Handle basic customer transactions and financial operations accurately
Reconcile daily cash totals to maintain financial accuracy and balance
Identify referral opportunities to support branch growth objectives
Comply with all banking regulations and policies, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through appropriate channels
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and related business areas
Adapt to evolving digital banking channels and technologies
Perform additional duties as required

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the designated branch leader.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

Strong customer service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound business judgment and decision making ability
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in changing work environments
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Flexible scheduling based on business requirements

Compensation and Workplace:
