Job Description For Corporate Banker:

As a Corporate Banker, you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Corporate Bankers will provide expert financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients accomplish their current and future financial goals. You will also be skilled in marketing Simmons solutions to existing customers and prospects through daily interactions, outbound calls, business visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. Corporate Bankers are expected to meet and/or exceed their individual and branch goals. Additionally, you may assist clients with account service and maintenance requests, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other transactional needs. Maintaining a professional and positive image as a Simmons Ambassador while exceeding client expectations is essential. All Corporate Banker positions will receive standardized training on all necessary products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools essential to perform the role.

Main Tasks and Obligations:

• Inform and advise customers on the bank's comprehensive range of resources, including in-person branch services, digital platforms, and business partner support
• Ensure achievement of personal targets through the necessary volume of face-to-face and outbound calls that provide valuable solutions and recommendations based on a needs-driven philosophy
• Manage all account-related functions, including opening and closing accounts, assisting clients in selecting suitable accounts, conducting account research, and ensuring BSA and CIP compliance
• Assist with consumer loan requests: collect loan applications, stay updated on loan regulations and procedures, and support in managing consumer loan portfolios across branch(es)
• Identify customer needs and refer them to a partner-focused team serving small businesses, corporate clients, institutions, and mortgage/financial advisors
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by actively engaging with clients and ensuring they receive an exceptional service experience
• Validate that all departmental documentation and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures for this role, including completion of mandatory compliance training
• Facilitate customer transactions and requests professionally, engaging in genuine conversations to identify needs and propose solutions
• Perform additional assignments as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues
• Embrace a team-centered approach to effectively support customers in a fast-paced banking environment
• Lead and mentor the branch team following standard operating procedures in the AFCM's absence

Education And/Or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience with a focus on achieving goals
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Maximize brand exposure and market knowledge through strategic use of social media

Other Qualifications:

• Limited and sporadic travel for meetings, training sessions, and assisting with bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town arrangements
• Competence in providing support and guidance to other banking institutions in the market
