Job Description:

The primary responsibility of a Relationship Banker (RB) is to create, broaden, and uphold existing client relationships while delivering an exceptional client service experience. Relationship Bankers will offer skillful financial solutions to current and potential clients after evaluating their financial demands and suggesting solutions through banking products and services to aid clients in achieving their present and future financial goals. As experts in marketing Simmons solutions to the current customer base and potential clients, Relationship Bankers will engage in daily interactions, outbound calls, client visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. Relationship Bankers are anticipated to meet or surpass their set individual and branch goals. They might also aid clients with account service and maintenance requests, cashier transactions, resolving issues, and attending to other transactional necessities. Maintaining a professional and favorable image as Simmons Ambassadors while surpassing client expectations is an important aspect for Relationship Bankers. All Relationship Banker roles will undertake similar training on all mandatory products, services, needs-based conversations, and additional resources essential for fulfilling the role.

Main responsibilities and duties expected:

• Responsibility lies in ensuring that clients are informed and recommended on the extensive range of resources offered by the bank, encompassing not just the in-person services at branches but also the digital advancements and the strategic partnerships with other businesses
• Meet personal targets by engaging in the right amount of in-person and outbound calling activities, allowing for the sharing of valuable solutions and recommendations guided by a needs-oriented approach
• Perform all duties linked to starting and ending accounts, supporting customers in account selection, conducting research on customers' accounts, and upholding BSA and CIP requirements
• Support consumer loan processing: request loan applications, maintain awareness of loan policies and methods, assist in handling the consumer loan portfolios across the branch(es)
• Unveil customer needs and refer them to a team that collaborates with small business owners, corporate partners, institutional clients, and experts in mortgages and financial advisory
• Uphold a standard of excellent customer satisfaction by actively involving our clientele and striving to enhance their overall experience
• Validates that all departmental documents and operations are conducted in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures specific to this role, including the completion of requisite compliance training.
• Conduct customer interactions with a positive and accurate approach, processing requests and transactions professionally while engaging in genuine conversations to understand their needs and provide suitable recommendations
• Completes additional responsibilities as designated

Qualifications:

• Being skilled at motivating and presenting information in one-on-one and small group scenarios, whether to customers, clients, or colleagues within the organization, is a vital competence
• Adopt a collective approach within the team to assist customers effectively in the fast-paced banking industry
• Supervise and instruct the branch team following standard protocols in the AFCM's unavailability

Education And/Or Experience

• HS Diploma/GED
• Twelve months of customer-centric roles emphasizing the achievement of specific targets
• Fulfilling the registration criteria set by the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is essential for this position

Other Qualifications

• Periodic travel is essential for attending meetings, training sessions, and aiding in bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town obligations
• Proficiency in offering guidance and assistance to other financial entities operating in the market
