Job Description:

This role is responsible for all functions, staff, and daily operations within a banking center. They are responsible for implementing the Webster banking center network strategy, which includes achievement of sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and colleague development goals while also contributing to the achievement of District goals. This role is tasked with acquisition, integration, and optimization of new and existing client relationships. The colleague must develop and maintain a strong level of partnership with segment and line of business partners through collaboration and communication.

The specific function or position that you will hold within a particular context:

• consistently meet or surpass all sales objectives, retention goals, and Superior Service Quality (SSQ) criteria.
• Develop, execute, and supervise a detailed business strategy and contribute to establishing team targets for sales and service.
• Nurture and maintain customer connections, actively market supplementary solutions, and address customer grievances promptly. Assist in supporting the client segmentation strategy through the utilization of sales techniques, customer retention efforts, and diverse banking initiatives to strengthen the growth and profitability targets of the Banking Center.
• Identify, develop, and reinforce significant customer group interactions via specific sales undertakings and promoting referrals.
• Maintain awareness of all Webster asset, liability, and partner services, as well as the available alternative channels for accessing them.
• Direct, empower, and enforce team accountability by showcasing leadership competencies and serving as a model for others.
• Expertly use and illustrate the application of all sales tools and resources that you have access to.
• Timely audit completion is crucial for meeting or exceeding branch operations review expectations.
• Maintain compliance with both Federal and State regulations as well as bank policies.
• Plan the rotations of branch employees to accommodate customer service requirements and enable flexibility in staffing schedules at the banking facility.
• Drive high team performance by instilling accountability for top-notch results. Support employee engagement with coaching, assistance, and timely, constructive feedback on their performance.
• Administer a thorough colleague onboarding initiative that includes the training of new employees on the policies, procedures, and operational tasks specific to the banking center.

Skills and Abilities:

• In-depth awareness of retail banking offerings.
• Key attributes include strong customer service skills, aptitude for relationship building, organizational capabilities, computer literacy, proficiency in current technology, and effective communication skills.

Education Qualifications:

• The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma, or equivalent like a General Education Degree (GED)
• A BA/BS degree in Arts or Sciences is the recommended educational background

Experience Qualifications:

• The role calls for individuals with a 5-7 year background in banking, with a track record showcasing leadership qualities, exceptional customer service aptitude, managerial expertise, strong communication skills, and efficient organizational abilities
