We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our Retail Banking Center team as a Banking Support Specialist. This role provides an opportunity to develop banking knowledge, support client needs, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the banking center.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional client support by assisting customers with account services, inquiries, and financial requests.
• Recommend appropriate banking products and solutions based on client needs and financial objectives.
• Support sales initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and connect customers with additional banking services.
• Process debit and credit transactions accurately while following established banking procedures and compliance standards.
• Address client concerns promptly and provide effective solutions to improve the overall customer experience.
• Manage banking center cash operations, including vault balancing, cash ordering, currency transportation coordination, and cash distribution to authorized team members.
• Maintain accurate cash handling records, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and other required compliance documentation.
• Assist with opening new accounts, completing required documentation, and supporting account maintenance activities.

Essential Abilities and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Two to three years of cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong accuracy and coordination skills.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage priorities, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to safely lift and handle containers of coins and currency supplies.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented banking environment.
