Job Summary:

Tasked with spearheading sales and marketing efforts for Truist Mortgage Loan products while following bank protocols. Ensures successful referrals to supplementary bank services and insurance products, offering clients high-quality guidance.

Key duties and assignments:

• Create and implement strong mortgage marketing and business development plans to meet or exceed production targets effectively.
• Familiarize yourself with the mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines adhered to by Truist.
• Comply thoroughly with Truist policies and procedures, along with adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Delivering sound counsel on mortgages through a comprehensive understanding of the client's requirements and the benefits provided by Truist Mortgage options.
• Abide by the established protocol at Truist by connecting mortgage customers with additional banking products using the referral process.
• Assist in managing the documentation follow-up for mortgage loans concerning clients, legal counsel, or appraisers as required during quality control or post-closing evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience of one year in banking or lending is mandatory, along with a basic understanding of the various types of residential properties.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills and demonstrates clear written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrates competence in interpersonal interactions and negotiation talents.
• Mastery of relevant digital tools.
• To comply with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act, individuals must register with NMLS and undergo a background check within 30 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a similar field, or relevant experience in financial sales.
• Possessing extensive knowledge of the local market and regulatory landscape in residential mortgage lending, with over two years of hands-on experience.
• Verified history of achieving sales targets and prior roles in leading teams.
