• The CSA is expected to follow predetermined guidelines, protocols, and processes while carrying out tasks such as selling and managing deposit accounts, responding to customer questions, and swiftly resolving any problems that may arise.
• It is important to have a comprehensive knowledge of the different deposit options and electronic banking services available at the bank.
• Implement sales tactics that focus on understanding customer needs, exploring referral possibilities, and proposing relevant products and services to address those needs.

Criteria for becoming a Customer Care Associate:

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience working in a branch or call center atmosphere in positions such as tellers or customer service representatives within the banking industry.
• Demonstrates excellent sales capabilities along with exceptional service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Customer Care Associate Role:

• Exceptionally proficient in managing diverse teller transactions and everyday customer service duties.
• Skilled at pinpointing cross-selling opportunities and addressing a range of customer questions to propose relevant products or solutions that align with their needs.
• Skilled in managing the setup of primary deposit products, addressing electronic banking concerns and needs, conducting account management duties, and recommending clients to alternative departments for further assistance.
• Handle and reconcile a cash drawer with precision and speed.
• Offer outstanding customer service to both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Be knowledgeable about and comply with a variety of policies, directives, and processes, including those related to security, conformity, and operations.
• Take part in ongoing training sessions that focus on job-specific skills like sales techniques, customer care, regulatory compliance, and product information.
• There is the option to relocate to another branch in the area to help with staffing shortages.
