Job Description:

As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Financial Consultants will provide expert financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients accomplish their current and future financial goals. You will also be skilled in marketing Simmons solutions to existing customers and prospects through daily interactions, outbound calls, business visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. Financial Consultants are expected to achieve and/or exceed their individual and branch goals. Additionally, you may assist clients with account service and maintenance requests, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other transactional needs. Maintaining a professional and positive image as a Simmons Ambassador while exceeding client expectations is essential. All Financial Consultant positions will receive standardized training on all necessary products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools essential to perform the role.

Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers are aware of and guided on the entire spectrum of the bank's offerings, including branch services, digital tools, and resources available through business partners
• Support personal goal achievement through in-person and outbound calling activities that facilitate sharing important solutions and recommendations based on a needs-oriented philosophy
• Undertake tasks related to opening and closing accounts, assisting customers with suitable account choices, researching account details, and conforming to BSA and CIP regulations
• Support consumer loan processing: request loan applications, maintain awareness of loan policies and procedures, and assist in managing consumer loan portfolios across branch(es)
• Uncover specific needs and refer customers to a partner-focused team that prioritizes small business owners, corporate partners, institutional clients, mortgage professionals, and financial advisors
• Ensure maximum client satisfaction by engaging proactively with customers and providing an exceptional customer service experience
• Verify that all departmental paperwork and tasks are performed in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completion of mandatory compliance training
• Conduct customer interactions professionally, processing requests and transactions while engaging in genuine conversations to understand needs and provide suitable recommendations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and present information effectively in small group and one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and colleagues
• Embrace a team-focused strategy to collectively support customers in a fast-changing banking environment
• Manage and coach branch staff in line with established protocols and procedures in the AFCM's absence

Education And/Or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Twelve months of customer-centric roles emphasizing achievement of targets
• Valid registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Utilize social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and gain market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel is required for meetings, training sessions, and supporting bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight stays or out-of-town commitments
• Proficiency in offering guidance and assistance to other financial institutions operating in the market
