Summary:

The Assistant Branch Administrator is responsible for supporting branch functions, sales initiatives, and customer service to increase profitability and strengthen community presence. Duties include managing staff, organizing training programs, creating schedules, providing guidance, performing Branch Manager responsibilities when required, promoting financial products, and ensuring compliance and security. Candidates should have prior banking experience, ideally 3–5 years, may require NMLS certification, and are eligible for benefits and performance-based incentives.

What you’ll do:

The Assistant Branch Administrator plays a key role in helping the Branch Manager achieve strong financial results and exceptional customer service by fostering a proactive sales and service environment, enhancing staff productivity, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth.

• Enhance the bank's presence in the community by participating in events and conducting proactive outreach to boost branch business
• Oversee branch operations, including training programs, scheduling, and facility management
• Hold regular team meetings to keep staff informed and motivated
• Conduct coaching sessions and address employee performance issues as needed
• Perform Branch Manager duties during their absence to ensure smooth operations
• Promote financial products and services, such as deposits, loans, and retirement plans, aligned with customer needs
• Perform Personal Banker responsibilities as required
• Follow department, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to all safety and security measures

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree or relevant banking experience preferred
• Prior managerial experience preferred
• 3–5 years of banking experience preferred
• NMLS certification may be required
