The Branch Performance Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving branch growth targets, optimizing operational efficiency, and developing the skills of branch staff. Branch Management:

• Dedicate approximately 20% of time to managing and maintaining key client relationships.
• Deploy innovative sales and promotional strategies to meet objectives and surpass performance benchmarks.
• Coordinate the delivery of financial products and services, including customized loans, cash management, and investment oversight, by directing clients to the appropriate departments.
• Lead branch growth initiatives, targeting consumer and small business markets, ensuring the consistent execution of development activities.

Team Leadership:

• Oversee recruitment, assignment, evaluation, development, promotion, and, if necessary, termination of branch staff.
• Coach and mentor staff to acquire the skills necessary for their roles, including technical knowledge of consumer and small business lending.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering training and guidance to team members as needed.

Operational & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure branch operations maintain operational efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to banking regulations and remain up-to-date on changes in the regulatory landscape.
• Maintain knowledge of policies related to the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, bank security, and other applicable laws.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of supervisory or management experience in retail banking.
• Active participation in community organizations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, banking software, and office equipment.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop staff.
• Demonstrated experience in sales and relationship management.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services; experience with consumer and small business loans is advantageous.
• Understanding and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations regarding loan origination, including compliance with consumer protection laws such as the SAFE Act.
