Job Summary:

An Operations Specialist is accountable for coordinating with different departments, analyzing operational data, and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency

As an Operations Specialist at Bank of America, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our internal business functions, assisting both clients and team members in maintaining seamless operations. This role requires you to manage day to day workflows, meet critical deadlines, and provide guidance to other team members, ensuring that the team performs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Operations team's success through individual input and efforts
• Coordinates the daily activities and addresses concerns regarding one or more Lines of Business organization-wide
• Abides by the deadlines established internally in the department or as stipulated in Service Level Agreements with internal or external business counterparts
• Dispenses specialized expertise and experience to initiatives within the business unit
• Maintains internal operational and financial oversight and works within the risk tolerance of the business entity
• Sustains a regular examination of procedures to validate their efficiency and integrates enhancements to streamline processes

Required Qualifications:

• Well-versed in banking procedures and lockbox systems with a professional background spanning beyond five years
• Competence in using internal banking platforms like KATS, VICOR, and RIDS
• Proficient use of Windows 10, Outlook, and Excel is highly beneficial in various job roles
• Data entry proficiency and expertise with the 10-key pad are vital components of maintaining precise records
• Strong analytical skills
• Working remotely from home may be an option offered to the candidate at a later date, with the current need being reporting onsite at the primary location.
• Adeptness in dealing with stress while working alongside team members
• Proficiency in establishing rapport and articulating thoughts adeptly
• Experienced in communicating smoothly with senior management and internal business control counterparts
• Detail oriented
• Ability to effectively handle a variety of tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Proficient in the art of time management and prioritization
• Capability to deliver within narrow timeframes
• Skill in leading team huddles to deliver significant updates pertaining to the department
• A willingness and ability to continuously develop on-the-job learning capabilities

• Flexibility involves the aptitude to extend work hours as needed to accomplish client tasks within the specified timeframe
