• The CSA's role involves adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines when selling and servicing deposit accounts, handling customer inquiries, and resolving problems promptly.
• Having a strong familiarity with the various deposit and electronic banking solutions offered by the bank is crucial.
• Leverage needs-driven selling methods to identify customer needs, uncover referral chances, and suggest the right products and services to cater to those needs.

Essential Job Functions for the Customer Service Coordinator Role:

• Demonstrating expertise in conducting multiple teller transactions and regular customer service tasks.
• Competent in recognizing cross-selling opportunities and addressing different customer inquiries to suggest appropriate products or solutions that cater to their needs.
• Experienced in overseeing the establishment of basic deposit options, managing electronic banking inquiries and functions, executing account upkeep responsibilities, and guiding customers to relevant departments for further aid.
• Manage and reconcile a cash register with accuracy and swiftness.
• Ensure a superior standard of service for both external customers and internal team members.
• Understand and adhere to different policies, principles, and protocols, which include security, compliance, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities that encompass areas such as sales methodologies, service excellence, regulatory adherence, and product awareness.
• Has the flexibility to shift to another nearby branch to provide support with staffing if the situation demands.
• Undertake supplementary tasks as required.

Job prerequisites for the position of Customer Service Coordinator:

• A minimum of one year working in a branch or call center is essential, preferably in roles such as tellers or customer service representatives within the banking field.
• Skilled in sales techniques, customer service strategies, and interpersonal communication proficiency.
