The function of a Retail Banking Specialist is essential in:

• Steering, upholding, and attaining lasting mutually beneficial connections with our clientele.
• Acknowledging and interpreting the prolonged financial requirements of clients while recommending customized solutions in both products and services.
• Using the bank's latest technology offerings to address the increasing needs of our clientele.

Responsibilities include:

• Reaching the set sales goals for the team and branch for each quarter and year, through activities such as customer intelligence analysis, commercial real estate transactions, small business administration lending operations, mortgage services, treasury management solutions, deposit handling, wealth management investment product sales, international deposit and wire transfer services, and various commercial and consumer product offerings.
• Obtaining and nurturing loans such as HELOC, Residential Mortgage, and Commercial Mortgage.
• Ensuring adherence to yearly updates and meeting regulatory requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) while possessing knowledge of interest rates, funding options, and mathematical computations to effectively assist prospective home loan seekers.
• Possesses a deep knowledge of the bank's deposit, loan, and additional products, as well as a grasp of the necessary prerequisites.
• Supports customers in managing financial needs such as withdrawing cash, depositing money, transferring funds, repaying loans/credit card debts, initiating wire transfers, and converting foreign currencies.
• Exhibits a high level of motivation and self-driven attitude towards serving clients' needs effectively.
• Demonstrates solid critical thinking and effective problem-solving strategies to meet clients' needs.
• Collaborates closely with colleagues and multiple lines of business to recommend the most appropriate products to customers based on their requirements.
• Displays effective communication techniques and a self-assured approach in client interactions.
• Skilled at quickly familiarizing oneself with products, services, and technologies and informing customers on how to engage in banking transactions online, via mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Experienced in maximizing the effectiveness of clients' digital banking experiences through the use of digital resources and technologies.
• Manifests a strong passion and talent for impacting, educating, and establishing relationships with technology consumers.
• Undertakes further responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications include:

• The basic requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent, like a GED, though a Bachelor's degree is recommended.
• Ideal candidates for this role will have accumulated at least two years of experience in customer service, teller responsibilities, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) duties in the banking or financial services sector.
• Thorough familiarity with branch operational procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a consultative sales capacity within a related sector, showcasing the ability to onboard new clientele, cultivate strong client rapport, and drive tangible achievements.
• Demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail, possessing effective follow-up abilities.
• Skilled at quickly acclimating to new processes and technological changes.
• Extensive experience with branch technology, mobile banking tools, and online banking platforms.
• Skilled in tackling problems, making sound decisions, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
