Job Description:

A Client Services Manager with a client-centered and proactive mindset is being sought by Rockland Trust to join their Investment Management Group in Providence, RI.

The Client Services Manager has the responsibility of building and maintaining solid relationships with high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized services to IMG's clientele, and aiding in business expansion by partnering with IMG financial advisors and networking with influential individuals. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, the Client Services Manager is required to understand their financial objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their diverse financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture connections with high-net-worth customers, comprehending their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment choices.
• Provide specialized financial solutions and advice based on an in-depth examination of clients' financial conditions.
• Join forces with our IMG team of internal specialists for financial and retirement planning discussions, investment management advice, personal insurance solutions, trust and estate management, special needs assistance, and premier banking strategies.
• Provide guidance as a trusted advisor to clients, offering exceptional service and ensuring that their investment objectives are in line with their overarching financial goals.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to develop client relations, increase managed assets, and foster new business prospects through referrals and networking initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory adjustments, and market evolutions, and convey significant details to clients.
• Managing the day-to-day affairs of accounts that consist of investment management portfolios, revocable trusts, and estates.
• Record client interactions, investment choices, and retirement planning objectives accurately to align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Competencies and Necessary Skills:

• A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is mandatory, and having a Master's degree is seen as a bonus.
• The desired candidate should have 5-10 years' experience in the financial services industry or a similar field, demonstrating proficiency in trust administration, portfolio management, financial planning, and estate settlement.
• Confirmed track record in fostering and managing client partnerships.
• Vow to act as a fiduciary in the wealth management domain.
• Proficient in financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to clients in a manner that is easily understandable and succinct.
• Proficiency in establishing rapport and communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide customized investment advice and solutions.
• Evidenced capability to function effectively in a fast-moving, interactive environment, with a dedication to providing exceptional client service and fostering business success.
• Preference will be given to individuals with trust certifications, attendance at Trust Schools, law degrees, and the CFP designation.
