Mortgage Loan Advisor

Job Overview:

Mortgage Loan Advisors support clients throughout the home financing process by providing clear guidance on mortgage products, helping them understand loan terms, and assisting them in selecting the most suitable financing option based on their financial situation and goals.

This is a full-time, hybrid, commission-based role located at the North Broad Street office in Philadelphia, PA. The Mortgage Loan Advisor is responsible for generating mortgage business, building strong referral networks, and guiding clients through each stage of the loan process to help them achieve their homeownership objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and developers to generate referral business
• Assess client financial profiles including income, credit history, and assets to determine loan eligibility
• Recommend appropriate mortgage products based on client needs and financial capacity
• Explain loan options, terms, and conditions in a clear and understandable manner
• Assist clients throughout the mortgage application and approval process
• Promote additional banking and financial services where appropriate
• Monitor loan progress, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain regulatory compliance
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the lending process

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of residential mortgage lending experience or completion of a related training program
• Strong ability to build and maintain referral partnerships

Compliance and Additional Duties:

• Must comply with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
