Role Overview:

The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for supervising the preparation and implementation of audits that involve specific business sectors or functional divisions within the corporation. Furthermore, the role involves managing the team responsible for conducting these audits.

Depth & Scope:

• Aids in developing audit plans for particular businesses or functional units, encompassing resource needs and financial allocations.
• Takes on the ultimate accountability for finishing audits, organizing and directing them, and supervising team members handling various audits, all while drawing conclusions and conveying the scope and findings to the business department.
• Conducts examinations of essential audit sections. Reviews audit records thoroughly. Supervises the verification of discoveries and the validation of problems.
• Guarantees that audits are carried out and finalized following set guidelines and within specified time, financial, and extent boundaries to ensure punctuality is achieved.
• Supervises a team of moderate size designated for a specific audit and offers guidance and evaluations on their performance during the audit process.
• Assessing both internal and external risks for designated business areas and functions by leveraging their specialized knowledge.
• Acts as the main point of contact for management concerning the scope, results, and progress of the audit.

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree required
• 7+ years of relevant experience
