Job Description:

The Portfolio Manager assists in the assessment of risk and management of the Bank's loan portfolio by providing analytical and credit oversight and is responsible for the annual review, renewal, loan covenant compliance reviews, and financial collection process within assigned loan portfolios. Partners with Relationship Managers to grow and develop a high-quality and profitable loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate pertinent information to determine risk rating and whether a prospect and/or existing credit is an acceptable risk.
• Identify credit risk trends at the customer and portfolio level and notify management of risk changes.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to meet with current and prospective clients to understand specific customer requirements and needs.
• Collect appropriate financial data to ensure accurate risk assessment and thorough underwriting.
• Answer client questions and ensure all data is accurate for loan underwriting.
• Analyze global cash flow for commercial and individual prospects, borrowers, and guarantors.
• Prepare financial spreads, Credit Presentation Sheets, narratives, Relationship Summaries, and Loan Pricing Models.
• Assist in the pricing and structuring of new loans and renewals.
• Coordinate loan closing and booking activities.
• Monitor industry trends and analyze industry-specific data to identify potential risks.
• Ensure 120-day renewal letters are sent and complete loan covenant compliance and annual reviews.
• Maintain compliance with all required regulatory and training courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Strong analytical and credit underwriting skills.
• Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Strong grammar, typing, and spelling skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
