Being a Consumer Banking Associate entails playing a critical role in:

• Managing, preserving, and obtaining long-term win-win associations with our customers.
• Understanding and recognizing clients' lasting financial needs to offer personalized service and product alternatives.
• Capitalizing on the bank's most recent technological solutions to meet the growing demands of our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Accomplishing quarterly and yearly team and branch sales targets by focusing on different financial services such as customer intelligence, commercial real estate ventures, small business administration loans, mortgage facilities, treasury management, deposit services, wealth management investment options, international banking products, and other commercial and consumer financial offerings.
• Procuring and fostering loans like HELOC, Home Mortgage, and Business Mortgage.
• Staying up to date with annual renewals and regulatory obligations for MLOs is essential to comprehend interest rates, financing solutions, and arithmetic operations needed for optimal customer service within the mortgage industry.
• Retains a comprehensive understanding of the financial institution's range of deposit, lending, and supplementary offerings, along with the necessary eligibility criteria.
• Aids individuals in fulfilling financial necessities including withdrawing money, depositing funds, transferring money, making payments towards loans/credit cards, sending wire transfers, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Possesses a robust work ethic and commitment to driving positive results while putting clients first.
• Utilizes effective critical thinking and solution-oriented skills to cater to clients' requirements.
• Engages with team members and other departments to determine the most relevant products for customers based on their unique needs.
• Communicates persuasively and confidently when engaging with customers.
• Proficient in rapidly acquiring information about products, services, and technologies and guiding customers on conducting banking transactions online, using mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Adept at employing digital tools and technologies strategically to improve clients' digital banking journey.
• Shows a robust determination and ability to influence, educate, and connect clients with technology.
• Carries out other tasks as required.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is a must-have, but candidates with Bachelor's degrees are favored.
• Preference will be given to applicants who possess more than two years of experience in customer service, teller functions, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) roles within the banking or financial services industry.
• Comprehensive comprehension of branch operations.
• Successful background in a consultative sales role in a related industry, highlighting accomplishments in securing fresh clients, strengthening client engagements, and producing significant results.
• Exceptional professionalism and thoroughness, coupled with impressive follow-up capabilities.
• Capable of swiftly adjusting to fresh procedures and technological advancements.
• Well-versed in branch technology, mobile banking apps, and online banking systems.
• Strong capabilities in resolving issues, making decisions, and serving customers effectively.
