Financial Relationship Specialist

Overview:

The Financial Relationship Specialist is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while fostering strong financial relationships. This role involves understanding customer needs, offering tailored banking solutions, and driving branch sales and service objectives. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer inquiries are addressed quickly and accurately.
Guide customers in understanding and selecting the right consumer deposit products.
Actively engage in the sales process, including following up with new clients, making outbound calls, and leveraging referrals to build lasting relationships.
Direct customers to other bank departments, strengthening connections and helping to meet their full financial needs.
Maintain compliance with all operational, security, and regulatory policies.
Utilize excellent communication and relationship-building skills to offer financial guidance and recommendations.
Complete other tasks as assigned to support branch operations.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
At least one year of customer service experience, ideally in an administrative, sales, or financial role, or military service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

More than one year of experience in customer service, preferably in banking, financial services, or a target-driven retail sales environment.
Cash handling experience.
Comfortable using digital tools and technology, including mobile banking and online services.
