Role Overview:Client Support Analyst

Client Support Analyst help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Support Analyst assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Support:

  • Cultivate and boost client relationships by actively engaging with clients, managing client requests, addressing inquiries, offering assistance, and ensuring the accuracy of essential information and paperwork
  • Recognize and aid in selecting Firm services and solutions that are aligned with clients' needs, encompassing banking offerings and secure, digital tools such as Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
  • Ensure approval and verify the legitimacy of the client while handling requests
  • Manage and uphold client profiles, encompassing the acquisition of client data and necessary paperwork, facilitating financial transactions if needed
  • Assess and address client account alerts in a timely manner

Other:

  • Assist financial advisors in strategizing a business plan and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Contribute to the team's marketing endeavors by overseeing marketing resources, digital and social media platforms, and arranging client-focused events and seminars
  • Participate actively in available training and education programs that are in sync with the firm's strategic direction, professional growth, and staying current on policies, procedures, and innovative platforms, while also attending scheduled targeted monthly field service professional training calls
  • Help Financial Advisors with administrative tasks that include answering phone calls, making travel arrangements, setting up client meetings, compiling travel expense reports, and managing calendars and filing systems
  • Get involved in company endeavors overseen by local leadership
  • Regularly seek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaborating with Financial Advisors

Training, firsthand knowledge, insights, and competencies are fundamental elements in a person's skill portfolio:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in the industry is an added benefit
  • Desire to acquire Series 7 (GS), as well as Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) combined with Series 65 (RA) certifications

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer technology and adept at utilizing Microsoft Office applications effectively
  • Outstanding writing capabilities paired with excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Known for meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational prowess, and the capability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Has a knack for team-based work and partnering with colleagues for mutual benefits
  • Ability to excel in a swiftly changing and dynamic work atmosphere
  • Results-focused, self-directed, and driven by objectives
