Job Description:

The responsibilities of Northwest Cash Handling Representative within our retail network team involve extensive customer interaction, encompassing customer greetings, effective transaction processing, problem resolution, delivery of educational services, and identification of financial needs for proper referrals. The floating teller position contributes to the operational efficiency of the banking system by accommodating various locations and adhering to a flexible work schedule.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain open availability to fulfill a variable schedule that fluctuates on a weekly or even daily basis in response to the Bank's demands
• Visit Bank sites within a specified geographical area, sometimes at short notice and during working hours
• Reliable transportation is a prerequisite for fulfilling job duties across different locations
• Attendance reliability is a must
• Reach financial wellness targets by pinpointing opportunities for referrals
• Aid patrons and guests by responding to queries, resolving concerns, and catering to their diverse needs. Initiate interactions with patrons to grasp their requirements and introduce them to the features and perks of products or services available. Guide patrons to the suitable team member for specialized requests or offerings.
• Participate actively in customer interactions by initiating greetings and demonstrating responsibility in resolving any customer complaints or worries
• Check the cash register at the end of each day and contribute to the supervised reconciliation of the vault, ATM, and other relevant apparatus as necessary
• Given an enhanced drawer limit, authorized to sign checks, and granted supervisory privileges in the teller system when required

• Prevent undue risks to the bank through the observance of compliance, risk, and operational guidelines

Education:

• Having finished high school or holding an equivalent qualification is advantageous

Work Experience:

• Preference given to candidates with a background in customer service
• Preference is given to candidates with cash handling background
