Job Summary:

The Cashier is proficient in delivering an outstanding customer experience by engaging in sales, service, and digital interactions with both Consumer and Business Banking customers. They assist in the smooth operation of branch activities, cater to customer service and sales needs, and schedule customer appointments to identify requirements and refer complex issues to suitable team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate customer engagement by educating them about available Consumer and Business Banking solutions. Offer advice on services that best suit individual needs and encourage the use of digital banking tools to streamline banking operations.
• Supervising appointments and consultations involves managing customer meetings, whether they are scheduled or walk-in, to pinpoint their financial requirements and facilitate a seamless referral to the appropriate banking experts for intricate matters.
• Reach out to customers proactively to bolster retention and expand relationship networks.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients in the lobby, greet them, address inquiries, and assert ownership in resolving their immediate banking necessities.
• Engage in Operational Support by assisting with routine branch operations, such as managing customer transactions, resolving overdraft concerns, and ensuring alignment with internal systems. Execute operational duties as needed.
• Safeguarding Compliance and Risk Management: Keeping up with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) methodologies. Spotting and raising awareness of potential fraud situations. Affirming compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Customer Resolution: Manage customer feedback by promptly logging and addressing complaints, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up. Guarantee effective and timely resolution of customer issues.
• Sales Referrals encompass recognizing sales possibilities and guiding customers to the fitting banking partners for personalized product offerings.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding assistance and address customer concerns effectively.
• Boost sales performance and enrich customer interactions at the branch location.
• Take on diverse functions across the branch, including starting new accounts and originating loans, handling concerns, and executing transaction procedures.
• Express empathy and concern for customers, place them at the core of interactions, be willing to adjust to varying circumstances, and demonstrate proficiency in digital literacy throughout customer exchanges.

Standards related to academic credentials and job history:

• Fulfilling the education criteria with a GED or high school diploma.
• Experience of one year in retail sales, call center operations, customer service, or telesales is essential.
• Ability to excel in verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in handling difficult customer conversations and a wide array of customer requirements.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Talent for handling demanding situations within a team-oriented, fast-paced context.
• Competent in utilizing technology at an online level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Being bilingual as per the needs of the branch.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving sales or securing referrals.
