Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in commercial banking, business banking, lending, or a related financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit evaluation, loan analysis, and banking regulations.
• Demonstrated success in business development, sales performance, and client relationship management.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Develop new business banking relationships through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive outreach.
• Identify opportunities for business loans, deposits, treasury services, and other financial solutions.
• Establish strong relationships with business owners, developers, professional partners, and community organizations.
• Understand client financial needs and recommend banking products that align with their business objectives.

Loan Origination:

• Review business loan applications to ensure appropriate structure, pricing, documentation, and compliance with lending requirements.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, credit history, and other relevant information to evaluate borrower creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with lending, credit, underwriting, and operations teams to support an efficient loan approval process.
• Guide clients through loan application, documentation, approval, and closing procedures.

Portfolio Management:

• Manage and expand an assigned portfolio of business banking relationships.
• Monitor portfolio performance, borrower financial condition, and overall credit quality.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional lending, deposit, and banking services.
• Address portfolio concerns proactively by coordinating with internal teams to develop appropriate solutions.
