Operating in a TD Store, the Account Handling Associate is pivotal in delivering top-notch customer experiences by swiftly and accurately carrying out routine banking transactions. Moreover, they are instrumental in familiarizing customers with the wide array of products and services offered by TD and guiding them towards tailored solutions through referrals to specialized partners.

Responsibilities:

• By demonstrating the appropriate behaviors consistently, this individual is ensuring that TD's brand promise to customers is fulfilled, resulting in a legendary customer experience within the store
• Efficiently processing customer transactions, which includes tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit box operations
• Manages cash transactions with a high degree of accuracy, performing duties such as check cashing, currency verification, cash drawer reconciliation, and night deposit processing
• Manages customer inquiries and issues by following standard protocols and escalating to supervisors or managers when necessary
• Assumes a leadership role in the lobby by directing customer traffic, providing a warm welcome to customers, and guiding them effectively
• Grasps customer inclinations regarding the when and how of banking interactions, offering insights on self-service and digital platforms that fulfill their requirements
• Acts on behalf of customers by engaging in needs-focused dialogues, providing financial and digital options, and facilitating connections with appropriate partners
• Displays a knack for making sound judgments and delivering timely solutions, escalating more complicated issues to the management team for handling
• Ensures that operational activities are conducted in compliance with company regulations and guidelines such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to reduce risks and safeguard customers
• Verifies customer identities through the implementation of customer authentication policies and procedures
• Ensures the accuracy of cash amounts in cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs where needed
• Follows the protocols and standards for safe deposit box procedures and operations
• Accountable for managing cash drawers and vaults, the person is responsible for upholding designated cash thresholds and ensuring cash is protected at all times

Requirements:

• Attaining a high school diploma or a GED certificate signifies successful completion of basic education requirements
• Experience in a work-related role for at least six months is preferred, but candidates can prove an equivalent level of capability through volunteering, education, or military involvement
• Flexibility to accommodate work hours as required, such as weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Demonstrated customer service competencies are highly valued
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Skill in operating effectively within a fast-paced and changing landscape
• Excelling in communication through brevity, clarity, and constancy
