As a Commercial Loan Officer, your primary role involves assessing and granting loans to businesses for various purposes. The main responsibility involves cultivating and preserving valuable customer connections through the provision of financial solutions that add value. This role necessitates adeptness in managing relationships, understanding products, having credit proficiency, and being capable of autonomously overseeing client accounts. Evaluation criteria include advancements in business, revenue increase, effective risk handling, and the triumphant sustainability of client relationships over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase commercial business growth by actively seeking out new clients through prospecting, referrals, and promoting additional products or services to existing clients.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers (COIs) and participate in networking functions.
• Arrange loans and conduct evaluations of creditworthiness.
• Originate loans for commercial and real estate purposes.
• Administer and finalize loans commonly falling within the bracket of $1 million to $10 million.
• Increase the volume of deposits by encouraging the uptake of supplementary banking services.
• Fulfill additional tasks as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position does not entail any duties involving supervision.

Qualifications:

• Education: A preferred qualification for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: At least four years of proven expertise in lending, credit assistance, or maintaining client relationships is required.
• Knowledge: Understanding of commercial banking offerings, loan application procedures, and evaluating creditworthiness for both C&I and Commercial Real Estate ventures.

Skills and Abilities:

• Effective abilities in expanding business and nurturing client connections.
• Increasing loan portfolios and promoting additional product sales through cross-selling.
• Exceptional abilities in both verbal and written communication and interpersonal interactions.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular interaction and attentive listening.
• Consistent utilization of hands and fingers.
• Proficiency in examining papers and executing administrative office duties.
• Sedentary job involving periodic lifting of objects weighing less than 10 pounds.
