The Investment Specialist specializes in delivering an exceptional customer experience through sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Business Banking customers. This role supports daily branch operations, meets customer service and sales needs, and manages customer appointments to identify needs and refer complex issues to appropriate team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate customer involvement by educating them about the various Consumer and Business Banking offerings accessible. Provide recommendations that align with customer needs and highlight the advantages of leveraging digital banking features.
• Coordinating appointments and consultations requires overseeing customer appointments, whether they are planned in advance or happen on the spot, to recognize their financial needs and facilitate a smooth connection to the appropriate banking authorities for challenging issues.
• Reach out to customers proactively to bolster retention and expand relationship networks.
• Customer Engagement: Engage customers in the lobby, greet them, respond to queries, and take ownership of addressing their immediate banking requirements.
• Provide assistance in branch operations by helping with customer transactions, managing overdraft situations, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. Execute operational responsibilities as requested.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Keeping up-to-date with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. Recognizing and reporting suspected fraudulent activities. Guaranteeing adherence to operational and regulatory guidelines.
• Customer Resolution: Deal with customer concerns promptly and accurately, documenting them for proper tracking and follow-up. Ensure customer complaints are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Sales Referrals consist of recognizing potential sales prospects and directing customers to the suitable banking associates for personalized product recommendations.

Qualifications in both academic and practical realms:

• Attainment of a GED or high school diploma.
• The role requires a minimum of one year of practice in retail sales, call center responsibilities, customer service, or telesales.
• Ability to excel in verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate tough customer interactions and varied customer needs adeptly.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Capability to perform effectively in a rapid teamwork setting while facing high-pressure situations.
• Skillful in handling web-based technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual skills aligned with specific branch needs.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving sales or securing referrals.
• Physical Requirements:
• The ability to bear standing up for long stretches.
• Persistent use of hands and fingers over an extended timeframe.
• Ability to manage objects of varying weights, from 5 to 30 pounds, through lifting.
