Job Description:

Supervise teller staff to ensure efficient operations, accurate transaction processing, and high-quality customer service. This role also involves handling escalated issues, supporting complex transactions, and promoting bank products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure teller activities are completed accurately and in line with policies and security standards.
• Monitor and coordinate daily teller workflow and responsibilities.
• Assist with complex transactions and resolve customer or teller issues.
• Investigate and correct cash and account discrepancies.
• Perform and support transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Track and manage negotiable instruments such as cashier’s checks and money orders.
• Provide backup support for teller operations when needed.
• Maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer inquiries and escalated issues efficiently.
• Assist customers with financial product information and service needs.
• Handle calls, account servicing, and request routing.
• Protect customer confidentiality and uphold the bank’s reputation.
• Supervise, train, and support teller staff development.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist with evaluations and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and sales standards.
• Act as lobby manager when required.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Work closely with branch leadership and staff.
• Keep management updated on operations and issues.
• Prepare reports and participate in meetings.

Additional Duties:

• Maintain clean, secure, and organized work areas.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures including vault and alarm handling.
• Provide teller coverage and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2.5 years of teller experience.
• Knowledge of banking operations and basic accounting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong math and operational ability.
• Familiarity with banking systems and tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent communication and listening.
• Repetitive hand and finger movements.
• Ability to review documents and perform office tasks.
• Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Standard office environment with no hazardous conditions.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
