Job Description:

Rockland Trust is recruiting for a Commercial Sales Manager in with a strong emphasis on being dynamic and committed to providing excellent service within the Investment Management Group.

The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing a high level of personalized services to IMG's clients while supporting our new business efforts through teaming with IMG financial consultants and networking with centers of influence. The Commercial Sales Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their financial objectives and delivering comprehensive tailored solutions to meet all of their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with affluent clients, understanding their financial goals, willingness to take risks, and investment preferences.
  • Deliver personalized financial options and recommendations by conducting a thorough analysis of clients' financial backgrounds.
  • Coordinate with our internal IMG advisors to delve into financial and retirement planning, investment supervision, personal insurance coverage, trust and estate services, specialized assistance, and premier banking solutions.
  • Act as a reliable partner to clients, delivering exceptional service and ensuring that their investment objectives are in harmony with their broader financial objectives.
  • Actively search for chances to build and nurture client relationships, grow assets under management, and generate new business through referrals and networking.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory reforms, and market fluctuations, and inform clients of relevant information.
  • Handling the everyday administration of accounts, which involve investment management portfolios, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and estates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and internal policies by maintaining accurate records of client interactions, investment decisions, and retirement planning goals.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science, with a Master's degree being highly regarded.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry or a related field, with specific expertise in trust administration, portfolio management, financial planning, and estate settlement.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and overseeing client affiliations.
  • Assurance of commitment to serving as a fiduciary in wealth management.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial markets, investment tools, and wealth management principles, with the aptitude to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a manner that is clear and to the point.
  • Demonstrating aptitude in interpersonal communication to connect with clients, comprehend their needs, and offer tailored investment recommendations and solutions.
  • Demonstrated knack for operating efficiently in a high-speed, constantly changing setting, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and propelling business achievements.
  • Ideal qualifications consist of trust certifications, participation in Trust Schools, legal education, and a CFP designation.
