Job Description for Financial Analyst:

Take on the role of a problem solver, reliable advisor, and associate to the individuals and enterprises situated in our KeyBank localities. Your duties as a Financial Analyst encompass providing superior client care in person, greeting both fresh faces and familiar clients at the Bank, and aiding them with their account operations and service needs, which includes identifying and addressing any client service matters that emerge.

Essential Functions:

• Creates a culture that prioritizes client satisfaction by being fully engaged with every client and team member, recognizing the profound effect we can have on their lives, both personally and in terms of their work and finances.
• Takes on the responsibility of overseeing the accurate, efficient, and effective performance of teller functions in a face-to-face branch setting.
• Employ proactive measures to identify and resolve client service challenges, escalating if needed.
• Stay alert to cues for potential financial advancement in client interactions and skillfully transition them to a Banker for specialized guidance.
• Support individuals in attaining their financial goals through the application of financial wellness tools and resources.
• Be present and participate in face-to-face morning huddles and end-of-day evaluations.
• Abides by compliance standards, conducts audits and maintains security protocols, reconciles cash drawer within established balancing guidelines.
• Keep abreast of product guides, charges, and policies to stay informed about the latest products and services.
• Abide by management's decision to work on Saturdays.
• Has the obligation to carry out any additional assignments as required; duties, responsibilities, and tasks may be altered or augmented without prior notice.
• Abides by all rules and regulations established by KeyBank, including conducting oneself in a professional manner consistently, adhering to ethical business practices, avoiding conflicts of interest, and working for the betterment of KeyBank's clients and the institution.

Education:

• Successful completion of high school or GED, or relevant business background is a pre-requisite

Work Experience:

• Proficiency in handling customer inquiries and issues is a prerequisite for this role
• Expertise in cash management procedures (required)
• Core knowledge of Windows-based applications on a personal computer along with a calculator is essential

Skills:

• Maintains a good understanding of the client's accounts and business ties with the bank, making well-considered decisions in client transactions.
• Shows a proficiency in sales and service capabilities, expertly presenting products and services while proactively educating clients on utilizing available access channels like ATM, online platforms, and telephone banking.
• Upholds a strong commitment to work and adheres to high moral standards.
• Shows adeptness in managing time wisely.
• This duty includes managing and securing client accounts to maintain accuracy and safety. As a teller, you will help customers update their account details and verify the accuracy of all transactions.
• Instructing clients on managing their money more efficiently and fostering financial well-being. While performing the duties of a teller, you will be able to spot opportunities to initiate conversations about financial wellness with clients, including advising them on budget creation, savings accumulation, and future financial planning, and connecting them with suitable resources or banking services.
• Skill in effectively and securely managing cash transactions, like processing deposits, withdrawals, and ensuring that cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift
• Guaranteeing precision in transactions and upholding structured documentation
• Capability to efficiently pinpoint and solve client support issues
• Knowing and complying with banking regulations and security policies
• Competency in identifying financial demands and endorsing relevant banking solutions
• Being informed about techniques to spot and hinder fraudulent behaviors
• Effective teamwork to ensure the seamless operation of tasks

Physical Demands:

• Consumer Retail - Prolonged Standing (5-8 hours per day), frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, ability to communicate face to face and on the phone with clients, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
