The function of a Personal Banking Associate is essential in:

• Steering, upholding, and attaining lasting mutually beneficial connections with our clientele.
• Understanding and recognizing clients' lasting financial needs to offer personalized service and product alternatives.
• Taking advantage of the bank's cutting-edge technology products to cater to the evolving needs of our client base.

Responsibilities include:

• Fulfilling the team and branch sales goals for each quarter and year by catering to different financial needs such as customer intelligence, commercial real estate ventures, small business administration loans, mortgage facilities, treasury management, deposit services, wealth management investment options, international banking services, and additional commercial and consumer financial products.
• Sourcing and refining loans including HELOC, Residential Mortgage Loan, and Commercial Real Estate Loan.
• Staying in line with annual renewals and all regulatory stipulations for MLO professionals requires a solid grasp of interest rates, financing options, and mathematical computations to effectively support potential mortgage clients.
• Shows proficiency in the knowledge of the bank's range of deposit, loan, and supplementary products, as well as the required qualifications.
• Guides individuals in fulfilling their financial obligations such as withdrawing cash, depositing funds, transferring money, making loan/credit card payments, initiating wire transfers, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Reflects a dedicated and results-oriented work ethic, consistently striving to meet clients' needs and exceed expectations.
• Showcases strong critical thinking and adept problem-solving capabilities to meet clients' expectations.
• Engages with team members and across business units to identify and offer the most suitable products to customers based on their needs.
• Demonstrates confidence and proficiency in communication while interacting with customers.
• Demonstrates the ability to efficiently learn about products, services, and technologies and educate customers on carrying out banking transactions online, through mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Experienced in maximizing the effectiveness of clients' digital banking experiences through the use of digital resources and technologies.
• Shows a robust determination and ability to influence, educate, and connect clients with technology.
• Undertakes further responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is necessary, and a Bachelor's degree is seen as beneficial.
• Candidates who have accumulated more than two years of experience in customer service, teller responsibilities, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) roles in the banking or financial services field are preferred.
• Broad knowledge of branch operational activities.
• Established success in a consultative sales role in a related industry, highlighting achievements in securing new clients, cultivating strong client relationships, and generating significant outcomes.
• Impressive professionalism and thoroughness, with a focus on proactive follow-up techniques.
• Proficient at swiftly adapting to changes in processes and technologies.
• Proficiency in branch technology, mobile banking services, and online banking applications.
• Proven track record in solving problems, making informed decisions, and prioritizing customer service.
