Your role as a Retail Banking Associate will be pivotal in:

• Supporting individuals in handling their daily financial obligations.
• Recommending the ideal product that aligns with the customers' needs.
• Linking customers with Subject Matter Specialists within Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Commercial divisions to cater to their distinct financial demands.
• Presenting the latest tech innovations from the bank to better serve the growing requirements of our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Showing excellence in customer service by guiding customers through a range of financial transactions, including cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan repayments, credit card payments, wire transfers, and converting foreign currency.
• Noting substantial deposits via Currency Transaction Reports.
• Recognizing fraudulent actions in order to minimize potential losses for the bank.
• Ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of financial transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, as well as regulatory and banking prerequisites.
• Sustaining solid relationships with current clients while cultivating fresh customer associations.
• Encouraging customers to consider additional bank offerings like savings accounts, financial planning, and property loans that suit their financial goals.
• Possessing extensive expertise in leveraging digital resources and platforms to improve clients' interactions with digital banking services.
• Having a sense of confidence in instructing clients on executing banking activities through online channels, mobile applications, and self-help portals.
• Exhibiting adeptness in rapidly acquiring new skills and adapting to changing technologies and processes.
• Carrying out tasks beyond the usual responsibilities.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma is necessary, with a preference for a bachelor's degree, though holding a GED is also acceptable.
• A year of hands-on experience in providing customer support and handling financial transactions.
• Experience working as a teller or in new accounts within a banking setting for a minimum of one year is desired.
• Proficiency in swiftly and accurately acquiring knowledge about products, services, and procedures.
• Proficient in providing top-notch customer support.
• Sharp eye for detail and proficient at managing time efficiently.
• A high level of skill in utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to accommodate weekend work flexibility.
