What You'll Do:
Create a positive first impression for customers entering the branch by greeting them warmly and directing them to the most relevant colleague to assist them.
Participate in consistent customer service, showcasing skilled, effective, and courteous support for customers through both face-to-face encounters and telephone conversations.
Guide customers towards selecting the Rockland Trust banking services that are tailored to their individual requirements.
Uphold a high level of precision in tasks like deposit processing, withdrawal facilitation, payment acceptance, check verification, and other financial transactions to ensure customers are attended to effectively.
Assist in decision-making with the guidance of your supervisor, with the potential for increased decision-making responsibilities as you enhance your expertise.
Partner with our training team and branch colleagues to understand these duties, and to complete the Rockland Trust Teller Training effectively.
Conclude any supplementary tasks as assigned by executives.
Required Qualifications:
Attainment of a high school diploma or similar qualification is mandatory.
Capability in articulating ideas verbally and through writing.
Experienced in utilizing technology, particularly computers, to facilitate the fulfillment of business aims.
Personality inclined towards both sales and service aspects.
Demonstrating the proficiency to uphold a professional appearance at all times.
Fostering a constructive approach to engaging with customers and team members.
Skilled in adapting to the typical office conditions, including extensive standing and continuous customer care.
Proficient in the lifting and carrying of loads that are 50 pounds or less.
Willingness and capability to participate in a flexible work schedule, including weekends, as influenced by customer demands.
Evidencing the potential to skillfully pass through our training curriculum
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Applicants must have between 1-2 years of teller experience or possess skills in cash handling and providing customer service.
