Investment Advisor role is a three-year program with a fixed salary, specifically for financial advisors or planners responsible for providing financial planning assistance and promoting investment management products.
A Investment Advisor will need to leverage their experience to service the unique and complex needs of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to their client's goals. The role will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for providing client service & developing the relationship to achieve greater share of wallet by helping clients achieve their goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection.

Experience in the marketing of investments and delivering financial advice
Shows a dedication to customer-centricity by delivering legendary service in each customer interaction to maximize retention and foster growth
Promises to deliver a comprehensive on-boarding experience to each new client, involving thorough client discovery, conducting a financial needs analysis to offer goals-based advice, introducing the centralized client servicing team as required by the client, and finalizing all relevant client documents
Competency in promoting and fostering the development of sales leads
Skilled in managing objectives, organizing tasks, and comfortable functioning in a fast-paced work setting
Affirms the provision of a top-notch MA Planning Experience to all clients, whether new or existing
Put in place a systematic method to certify the fulfillment of Annual Client Review (ACR) meetings for all clients, with an advanced itinerary designed to address the client's holistic wealth management requirements and promote ongoing proactive communications
Acts as the main point of contact for TD Wealth clients within the MA segment, overseeing all aspects of the client's relationships with TD Bank and making referrals to Retail and Wealth partners and related companies as appropriate
Develops and puts into action a personalized service model for MA clients
Succeeds in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets
Increases wallet share by predicting client needs and offering the most suitable wealth solutions. Focuses on maximizing profitability while providing clients with an outstanding service experience
Identify prospects within your portfolio and connections to direct business referrals to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
Performs duties thoroughly while adhering to regulations, policies, and procedures
Observes federal, state, and SRO regulations alongside internal company policies governing business activities in accordance with regulatory bodies like the OCC, SEC, and State Insurance Commissioners
Certifies the fulfillment of all prescribed Continuing Education conditions
Entrusted with the duty of understanding and adhering to TD Bank & TD Wealth policies and regulations
Tasked with overseeing the procedures of TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) by acquiring and authenticating the crucial customer identification details, and fulfilling additional Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements according to the Business Unit AML guidelines
Uncovers client belongings and transitions elite clients to relevant HNW Wealth partners as appropriate
Accountable for fostering and enriching a conducive and positive work atmosphere centered on assisting the overall Wealth team
Renders guidance, financial referral training, and ongoing feedback to Retail and Small Business personnel
Education & Experience:
The position entails either holding a 4-year degree or possessing relevant work experience
Demonstrable success in the sale of investments and the delivery of financial planning advice for over two years
In-depth comprehension of the wide range of investment products and services on offer
Obligatory enrollments include the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; those with just the Series 65 will need to achieve a Series 63 or 66 during the Licensing & Registration agenda
Essential Life/Health Licenses or the potential to secure them within the Licensing & Registration Schedule is a must-have
Detailed knowledge of methodologies for expanding a wealth management venture, encompassing various products, services, and the industry landscape
Proven capability in hitting and surpassing sales targets
Capable of delivering quality assistance in retail and small business banking
Proven track record of successfully establishing relationships and partnering with other departments at TD Bank, recognized as America's Most Convenient Bank
Skill in journeying within the assigned territory to engage with potential leads, customers, and partners, with travel comprising up to 75% of the schedule
