Job Summary:

The Teller Operations Manager effectively oversees and controls the functions of the Teller section and the sales tasks carried out by the Teller team. Ensures customers are served promptly and that daily transactions are accurately balanced at the close of each business day. Collaborates with managers, supervisors, and staff across various locations to consistently deliver FirstBank’s service excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise Teller performance in daily sales and service, ensuring adherence to best practices, service standards, and brand expectations to meet customer financial needs while leading by example.
• Handle escalated teller and customer inquiries; coach and guide teller staff to promote consistent sales and referral activities.
• Oversee daily operational procedures including cash drawer security, balancing, item processing, counterfeit detection, vault management, and ATM balancing.
• Train, mentor, and onboard new Tellers; monitor performance and coordinate staff schedules and responsibilities.
• Minimize risk by enforcing bank procedures and confidentiality standards, including compliance with regulatory reporting and security protocols.
• Collaborate with Financial Center leadership to address Teller operations, performance, and resource needs.
• Serve as Security Coordinator for the branch when required.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and represent the Bank at branch and community events.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service aligned with FirstBank standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal controls, and risk management policies while maintaining operational integrity.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of five years of experience, including Teller experience required
