Job Description:

An opportunity is available for a Portfolio Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) to handle the evaluation, supervision of credit, and overseeing of portfolios concerning acquisition, value enhancement/bridge, and building loans spanning different asset categories.

Responsibilities:

• Support the RM in developing, assessing, and supervising loans for non-owner-occupied commercial real estate based on the Bank's approved criteria and procedures.
• Act as the intermediary between the Relationship Manager, clients, legal representatives, and internal teams, streamlining interactions and support functions within the business.
• Evaluating and creating initial assessment reports, formal loan approval communications, revisions, yearly evaluations, and modifications in risk evaluation.
• The process of ongoing portfolio management entails monitoring financial records, checking covenant conformity, and reassessing risk evaluations to implement modifications when appropriate.
• Make sure to meet the regulatory and credit standards set by the Bank.
• Fulfill various administrative responsibilities and undertake specific assignments to ensure client portfolio upkeep.

Qualifications:

• Either a four-year college degree or a mixture of educational background and directly applicable experience is necessary.
• The ideal candidate should possess between five and ten years of experience in the commercial banking sector, with at least two years of direct involvement in managing commercial real estate portfolios.
• Demonstrated expertise in underwriting, Excel analysis, and professional written communication abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Capability to evaluate the financial records of individuals, companies, and investment funds.
• Possesses a thorough grasp of credit policy and procedures and can effectively assess the risk level of loans/credits.
• Generate resolutions for delinquent credit issues.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of treasury management and complex financial products, showcasing the capability to mobilize the Bank's assets to provide holistic solutions to the firm effectively.
