The role of a Commercial Relationship Manager involves managing relationships with business clients who require banking services for their operations

In the role of Commercial Relationship Manager, your primary duty will involve delivering extensive financial services to small enterprises earning up to $20 million in yearly revenues. Your main focus will be on actively overseeing and enhancing connections with valuable customers, all the while aiding them in expanding their businesses and achieving their financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the entire client experience from start to finish to meet client requirements and capitalize on sales prospects, all the while reducing potential risks
• Discovers and presents distinctive small business prospects and remedies to customers during the process of evaluating small business connections
• Ensures a consistent customer experience within designated sales areas by spending at least 80% of working hours in the field
• Develops connections with essential collaborators like Merchants, Practice Solutions, Treasury, and Business Banking to enhance small business prospects
• Utilizes credit expertise to offer guidance to small business proprietors concerning remedies, amenities, and online proficiencies that aid them in achieving their immediate and enduring business objectives
• Facilitates the implementation of the sales distribution strategy to meet the desired outcomes and expansion objectives of the bank's Small Business division
• Guides, nurtures, and supports team members and customers while promoting a culture centered on clients and employees

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated track record of achievement in advisory sales within the financial industry or in B2B sales
• Proficiency in showcasing how to enhance the financial performance of individual businesses by analyzing financial records and suggesting targeted strategies
• Holds a strong enthusiasm for field sales and finds pleasure in engaging in lead generation activities
• Aspiring to strengthen current connections and surpass sales targets
• Assessing the financial status of clients and examining trends within the industry
• The ability to comprehend and analyze financial statements and cash flow evaluations is crucial
• Shows strong communication abilities and has proven to be a capable leader
• Finds satisfaction in collaborating and bargaining with a group of bank staff to address client concerns
• Displayed effective handling of a client portfolio emphasized on nurturing and strengthening relationships
• Comprehensive understanding of financial offerings tailored for small enterprises
• Proficiency in CRM software and additional financial institution platforms
