Job Summary:

As an Investment Associate, you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Investment Associates will provide expert financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients accomplish their current and future financial goals. You will also be skilled in marketing Simmons solutions to existing customers and prospects through daily interactions, outbound calls, business visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. Investment Associates are expected to achieve and/or exceed their individual and branch goals. Additionally, you may assist clients with account service and maintenance requests, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other transactional needs. Maintaining a professional and positive image as a Simmons Ambassador while exceeding client expectations is essential. All Investment Associate positions will receive standardized training on all necessary products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools essential to perform the role.

Main Responsibilities and Duties Expected:

• Inform and suggest to customers the diverse range of services provided by the bank, including face-to-face branch services, digital capabilities, and resources offered by business partners
• Ensure the fulfillment of individual targets by engaging in face-to-face and outbound calls aimed at providing valued solutions and recommendations through a needs-based philosophy
• Undertake all tasks related to initiating and finalizing accounts, assisting customers with suitable account choices, conducting research on account details, and conforming to BSA and CIP regulations
• Assist with consumer loan requests: collect loan applications, stay updated on loan regulations and procedures, and support the management of consumer loan portfolios within branch networks
• Identify customer needs and introduce them to a team specializing in partnerships, including small businesses, corporate clients, institutions, mortgage advisors, and financial experts
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by actively engaging with clients and providing an exceptional client experience
• Ensure that all departmental documents and operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completion of requisite compliance training
• Interact with customers positively and professionally while processing requests and transactions, engaging in authentic conversations to determine their needs and provide effective solutions
• Carry out extra assignments as directed

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively persuade and convey information in personal and small group contexts to customers, clients, and team members within the organization
• Embrace teamwork as a strategy to collectively support customers in a constantly evolving banking environment
• Lead and instruct the branch staff according to established procedures and protocols in the AFCM's absence

Education And/Or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience with a focus on achieving goals
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Utilize social media platforms to increase brand awareness and gather market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel is required for meetings, training, and support during bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight stays or out-of-town commitments
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking entities in the market
