Job Description:
This role focuses on delivering a high quality customer service experience while accurately processing financial transactions, assisting existing and prospective customers, and supporting branch sales objectives.
Position Accountabilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
- Process basic customer interactions and financial transactions accurately
- Balance cash daily to ensure financial accuracy
- Identify potential referral opportunities to support branch goals
- Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
- Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels
- Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and other business lines
- Adapt to and learn evolving digital banking platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned
Organizational Relationship:
This position is supervised by the designated branch manager.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Sound business judgment and decision making skills
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs
Compensation is based on education, experience, and certifications, and may include incentive pay or discretionary profit sharing programs.
