As an Investment Consultant II, you will provide expert financial guidance to self-directed investors and prospects, helping them navigate the complexities of the financial markets. Your primary responsibility will be identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and assist clients in making informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Financial Guidance: Offer advice to prospects and self-directed investors, helping them identify and execute investment strategies that align with their financial goals.
• Educate Clients: Educate both potential and existing clients about investment products, services, and trading strategies offered by Bank of America.
• Relationship Deepening: Develop and deepen relationships with clients by uncovering additional investment needs and referring them to appropriate business counterparts.
• Client Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients by addressing general account inquiries, resolving client concerns, and providing timely solutions.
• Execute Trades: Accurately execute and confirm trade orders, securities transactions, and other investment requests initiated by clients.
• Client Education and Support: Assist clients with navigating brokerage websites and offer guidance on online tools to help them manage their investments.
• Resolve Client Issues: Own the management, research, and communication process to resolve client issues effectively, ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a current understanding of Merrill products, policies, services, and financial market trends, ensuring you can provide informed and up-to-date advice to clients.
• Compliance: Follow Bank of America’s policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines while managing client relationships and investments.
• Client Retention: Proactively work to build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing personalized, consistent, and professional service.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong passion and interest in financial markets and investments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to actively listen to clients, demonstrate empathy, and address client concerns in a meaningful way.
• Proven analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and follow-up.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and trading strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed productivity and performance goals.
• Technologically savvy, able to quickly learn new systems and tools.
• Flexibility to work within assigned shift hours as required.
• A strong client satisfaction focus, with an emphasis on point-of-call resolution.

Desired Qualifications:

• Call center experience (preferred but not required).
• Previous brokerage experience (a plus).
• 1+ years of experience in the financial industry or a related field.
