Role Overview:

The Bank Operations Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing a variety of financial transactions. This role plays a key part in building strong client relationships and ensuring the efficient operation of branch activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments with accuracy
• Operate a cash drawer to assist both clients and colleagues in the branch or at the drive-through
• Identify opportunities to offer additional products and refer customers to the appropriate bank personnel
• Develop the ability to detect potential fraud and report concerns to management
• Ensure compliance with all departmental, bank, and regulatory policies
• Maintain and support the Wintrust culture in all interactions
• Assist with bank opening and closing procedures as needed
• Participate in community events to support the branch’s engagement initiatives

Qualifications:

• At least six months of experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school diploma or GED required
• Flexibility to travel between branches as necessary
• Availability to work all shifts, including Saturdays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
