Job Summary:

The Associate Branch Manager is responsible for supporting branch operations, sales, and customer service to enhance profitability and community presence. Duties include supervising staff, training, scheduling, coaching, performing Branch Manager duties in their absence, cross-selling banking products, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory guidelines. Candidates should have banking experience (3–5 years preferred), may require NMLS certification, and are eligible for benefits and discretionary bonuses.

What you’ll do:

As the Associate Branch Manager, your primary role is to support the Branch Manager in achieving superior financial outcomes and delivering exceptional customer service by fostering a culture of proactive sales and service. You will focus on maximizing employee productivity, collaborating with internal teams, and driving growth and profitability.

• Expand the bank's community presence by engaging in networking events and initiating outbound calls to improve branch sales performance.
• Lead branch operations, including overseeing training programs, organizing employee schedules, and managing facility operations.
• Host regular meetings to ensure team members are informed and motivated.
• Arrange coaching sessions to address any performance issues as needed.
• Manage branch functions when the Branch Manager is absent to maintain branch efficiency.
• Promote products and services that align with customer needs, such as deposits, loans, and retirement solutions.
• Perform Personal Banker duties when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all departmental, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree or relevant banking experience preferred.
• Previous managerial experience is a plus.
• 3-5 years of banking experience preferred.
• NMLS certification may be required.
