Cash Services Teller

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience while processing financial transactions, servicing existing and prospective customers, and supporting branch sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent, high quality customer service by delivering excellent customer experiences
Handle basic customer interactions and cash transactions accurately
Perform daily cash balancing to ensure financial accuracy
Identify referral opportunities aligned with branch performance goals
Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including strict adherence to Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through appropriate channels
Maintain strong knowledge of bank products, services, and operational areas
Adapt to evolving digital banking platforms and tools
Perform additional duties as assigned

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the branch manager.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Sound decision making and business judgment
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Shift flexibility based on business needs

Compensation and Workplace:
