Position Overview:

The Universal Banking Associate at Regions is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, both in person and over the phone, while supporting customers in improving their financial well-being. This role focuses on building meaningful customer relationships during transactions, identifying opportunities to meet customer needs, and resolving a wide range of service inquiries.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, adaptable, and passionate about educating customers on convenient banking solutions, with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides efficient and accurate processing of routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments
• Responds to customer inquiries and completes basic service requests such as card issuance, PIN resets, and account updates
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships
• Educates customers on digital banking tools including mobile apps, online banking, and ATM services
• Supports branch operations by assisting teammates with routine tasks
• Conducts outbound calls using provided customer and prospect lists
• Refers customers to internal specialists for complex financial needs
• Ensures compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulations
• Contributes to branch goals by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions

This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and includes incentive earning potential.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Availability to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to accurately handle cash transactions
• Strong interpersonal, telephone, and digital communication skills
• Comfort with regular computer use and extended screen time
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in banking, cash handling, or customer service

• Ability to assist customers with digital banking solutions

• Accuracy in handling large sums of cash
