Job Description:

Carry out diverse banking operations like making deposits, withdrawals, loan installments, and negotiable instruments while prioritizing exceptional customer support and highlighting bank products.

Key Responsibilities:

Teller Operations:

• Execute transactions involving deposits, withdrawals, loan installments, and financial transfers.
• Process checks for payment and validate legal financial papers to ensure authenticity.
• Provide official checks, money orders, and traveler’s checks for purchase.
• Conduct the procedure for obtaining cash through credit card cash advance transactions.
• Ensure that the cash balance is reconciled daily and address any discrepancies that arise promptly.
• Accuracy must be upheld while reducing errors to a minimum in all financial tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to teller guidelines and compliance protocols at all times.
• Advocate for the advertisement and upselling of various banking services and products.

Customer Service:

• Attend to customer concerns and provide timely, effective solutions.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of customer records and personal information.
• Maintain a level of professionalism and respect in all interactions with customers.

Team Collaboration:

• Provide assistance to team members and bolster branch operations where needed.
• Engage in training programs, meetings, and skill enhancement activities to improve performance.
• Keep management informed about any significant developments or operational concerns.
• Ensure the timely and precise completion of all required reports.

Additional Duties:

• Carry out nightly cash deposits and related clerical responsibilities as assigned.
• Ensure that workspaces are neat, secure, and efficiently arranged for daily use.

Performance Expectations:

• Reliable and streamlined transaction processing for all bank clients.
• Ensure the cash drawer remains in equilibrium with minimal inconsistencies.
• Establish enduring customer rapport while delivering exceptional service quality.
• Provide operational reporting that is both timely and precise.
• Contribute to sales growth and the development of long-term industry relationships.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirement: Attainment of a high school diploma or its alternative.
• Experience: At least one year of background in cash management or a related field; prior experience as a teller is preferred.
• Knowledge: Foundational comprehension of how banks operate and general financial workflows.

Required Skills and Training:

• Successful participation in essential training initiatives including the Mentor Program, GS3, and Precision training.
• Proficiency in teller software, maintaining ATM accuracy, and overseeing wire transfers.
• Knowledge of compliance, risk mitigation, and the principle of dual oversight to maintain operational integrity.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in conveying messages clearly and displaying top-notch customer handling capabilities.
• Excellent capabilities in both mathematics and computer typing.
• Professional presentation and behavior suited for a financial environment.
• Skilled in the operation of standard office and financial tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular verbal exchanges paired with effective listening skills.
• Digital flexibility and repetitive manual gestures for processing transactions.
• Capacity to assess paperwork and manage electronic devices.
• Desk-based responsibilities with infrequent handling of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Mental Requirements:

• Elementary math understanding and strong analytical capacity.
• Strong skills in reading, writing, and communication for effective professional interaction.

• Monday – Friday: 7:15 AM – 6:15 PM
• Saturday: 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM
