Job Overview:

Client Relationship Bankers establish lasting connections with clients through exceptional customer service and tailor-made financial solutions to assist clients in reaching their financial objectives. It is crucial for Client Relationship Bankers to be involved in the local community and interact with clients in their preferred banking channels, offering guidance on both modern and conventional banking methods to fulfill their financial requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Involve clients and potential clients in reviewing their financial situations during client and business financial evaluations to identify solutions and discover any additional financial requirements. Deliver suggestions and ensure that promises made to clients are completed.
  • Uphold direct communication with both external and internal customers, providing exceptional service that adheres to the bank's exceptional client care criteria.
  • Main staff member responsible for initiating new deposit accounts and generating consumer loans in the branch.
  • Specializes in issuing consumer and small business loans while actively developing and managing a portfolio of loans and deposits.
  • Instructs clients on the various services provided by internal collaborators, including offerings like Treasury Management services.
  • Engages in making pre-emptive outbound telephone calls to existing and potential consumer and small business clients. Collaborates with the branch manager to arrange proactive business development appointments in the local area.
  • Establishes a flow of potential leads through in-person branch interactions and proactive outreach efforts.
  • Work together with colleagues from different departments within the bank as well as those in the branch team.
  • Assisting customers in addressing and solving problems related to digital products and services independently.
  • Contributes to the community by participating in activities both during and beyond regular business hours, on weekends, engaging in volunteer work, and sponsoring community events.
  • Embraces and embodies the principles of our shared DO RIGHT TOGETHER culture through ongoing learning and application.
  • Additional duties may be required.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.
  • Two years of experience in the banking sector or a proven track record in sales is necessary.
  • A 24-month period dedicated to cultivating both existing and prospective customer connections, meeting revenue targets, and establishing channels for recommendations within the banking or retail sector, necessitating familiarity with client support and financial transaction management.
  • Experience in a lending role involving loan origination and processing duties is necessary.
  • Expertise in consumer and business goods and services is essential.
  • Proven expertise in both consumer and commercial lending.
  • Shows a great eagerness to support clients in reaching their financial objectives.
  • Having the capacity to comprehend cash flow, financial reports, and market uncertainties is essential.
  • Shows a willingness and capacity to enhance proficiency in technology capabilities across different service channels such as online banking systems, bill payment options, electronic statements, mobile banking services, ATMs, and business banking software.
  • Strives for ongoing enhancement of communication abilities, encompassing presentation expertise.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, along with the capacity to deliver information to audiences.
  • Capability to make outbound calls, whether in-person or from a remote location.
  • Capable of carrying weights of up to 25 pounds and remaining on feet for prolonged periods.
  • This role may involve serving as a bank MLO for open-end transactions. All MLOs are required to register in accordance with the SAFE Act regulations. This role does not have the authorization to function as a bank closed-end MLO.
