Job Overview:

The Finance Sales Director is responsible for driving the marketing and sales of equipment finance lending and leasing solutions to medium and large commercial clients within an assigned region. This role is performance-driven and requires the ability to work independently in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining a consistent client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships
• Retain and grow assigned client portfolios
• Build and maintain relationships with companies generating over $15M in annual revenue
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers to promote and cross-sell banking products and services
• Prepare proposals, credit requests, commitment letters, and supporting documentation
• Maintain knowledge of equipment finance products, lending policies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure portfolio management aligns with credit policies, risk standards, and compliance requirements
• Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities within existing client relationships
• Develop and execute structured calling programs to generate new business
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage ongoing client relationships
• Mentor team members in prospecting, credit analysis, financial spreading, and underwriting
• Ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship:

This position reports directly to the Managing Director of Direct Originations.

Position Qualifications Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or related field required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment finance sales
• Experience with SuperTrump, TValue, InfoAnalysis, and CRM systems

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong credit and financial analysis skills
• Ability to independently manage complex lending structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities
• Deep understanding of equipment finance lending and leasing products
• Ability to structure loans and make sound credit decisions
• Proven success in sales and business development
• Ability to thrive in a sales-driven environment
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Knowledge of commercial lending laws and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Additional Information:

Compensation will be based on education, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation or discretionary profit-sharing programs.
