Customer Banking Associate

Job Description:

The Customer Banking Associate supports FirstBank’s commitment to exceptional service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently, understanding customer needs, and effectively recommending suitable banking products and services through a structured needs-based approach.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Previous banking experience of at least one year is preferred but not mandatory
Notary certification is considered a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations by explaining bank products and services in alignment with established guidelines, brand standards, and service models; refer customers to relevant bank partners when needed.
Assist customers with a variety of transactional needs, including inquiries related to account balances, transaction history, service charges, and interest rates.
Contribute to Financial Center operations by performing duties associated with Teller, Teller Manager, and Financial Service Representative roles as required.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both individual and business clients to achieve personal and branch performance goals related to accounts, sales, and teller activities.
Deliver consistent and high-quality customer service across all interactions in line with FirstBank standards.
Follow all banking regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including adherence to required security protocols.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
