Job Description:

We are in need of a Portfolio Manager within the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) who will undertake tasks such as assessing risks, monitoring credit, and managing portfolios of acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans for various types of properties.

Responsibilities:

• Help the Relationship Manager (RM) organize, evaluate, and oversee commercial real estate loans for properties not occupied by the owner, following the Bank's predefined rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Relationship Manager to serve as the primary link between the client, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination for the credit process.
• Underwriting and composing preliminary review documents, official loan approval documents, alterations, yearly assessments, and adjustments in risk ratings.
• Continuous management of portfolios involves overseeing financial statements, ensuring adherence to agreements, and assessing risk levels, adjusting as needed.
• Adhere to the Bank's regulatory and credit stipulations for compliance.
• Carry out additional administrative tasks and unique projects as required to support a group of customers.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree or a blend of academic qualifications and relevant work experience is required.
• A background in commercial banking spanning five to ten years, with a preference for at least two years of hands-on experience in managing commercial real estate portfolios is highly preferred.
• Proficient underwriting, Excel formulation, and adept business communication capabilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in examining financial statements for individuals, businesses, and investment portfolios.
• Proficient in comprehending credit policies and procedures and capable of precisely evaluating the risk associated with loans/credits.
• Create strategies to address problematic loan accounts.
• Possessing expertise in treasury operations and derivative instruments, the individual has displayed proficiency in orchestrating the Bank's resources to deliver comprehensive solutions to the organization efficiently.
