Playing the part of a Universal Banker involves being a vital component in:

• Administering, conserving, and acquiring lasting mutually beneficial relationships with our customer base.
• Identifying and understanding the long-term financial needs of clients to provide custom-tailored solutions in products and services.
• Leveraging the bank's updated technology products to accommodate the expanding requirements of our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Achieving the quarterly and annual team and branch sales goals through the promotion and execution of various financial services such as customer intelligence analysis, commercial real estate transactions, small business administration loan provisions, mortgage solutions, treasury management services, deposit products, wealth management investment offerings, international deposit and wire transfer facilities, and other commercial and consumer financial products.
• Acquiring and enhancing loans such as Home Equity Lines of Credit, Residential Mortgages, and Commercial Mortgages.
• Observing annual renewals and regulatory standards for MLO professionals is vital in comprehending interest rates, financing solutions, and calculation techniques to enhance services provided to potential mortgage applicants.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of the deposit, loan, and supplementary products offered by the bank, as well as the necessary qualifications.
• Guides customers in handling their financial requirements, including withdrawing cash, depositing money, transferring funds, making loan/credit card payments, sending wire transfers, and converting foreign currencies.
• Displays a keen interest in achieving results that benefit clients through a motivated and proactive work approach.
• Demonstrates proficient critical thinking and solution-focused skills in satisfying clients' needs.
• Collaborates closely with colleagues and multiple lines of business to recommend the most appropriate products to customers based on their requirements.
• Communicates persuasively and confidently when engaging with customers.
• Has the capacity to promptly assimilate knowledge regarding products, services, and technologies and instruct customers on performing banking transactions online, via mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Well-versed in leveraging digital tools and advancements to optimize clients' interactions with online banking platforms.
• Illustrates a strong motivation and capacity to influence, educate, and establish connections with technology users.
• Handles additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is a must-have, but candidates with Bachelor's degrees are favored.
• Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in customer service, cashier responsibilities, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) tasks in the banking or financial service sector are encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of branch operational processes.
• Demonstrated success in a consultative sales role within a related sector, emphasizing achievements in acquiring new clients, building lasting customer relationships, and driving meaningful results.
• Exhibit professionalism and meticulousness, with a knack for persistent follow-up actions.
• Adroit at promptly integrating novel processes and technological advancements.
• Skilled in navigating branch technology, mobile banking platforms, and online banking systems efficiently.
• Demonstrated adeptness in problem-solving, decision-making, and providing exceptional customer support.
