Job Description:

Branch Support Specialists at UMB are experts at building customer relationships and assisting with banking products and services. Daily Responsibilities:

• Pose personalized questions to convert transactions, account administration duties, and other routine service requests into cross-selling opportunities that strengthen client relationships.
• Proactively pursue sales opportunities by contacting leads, visiting businesses to showcase workplace banking solutions, and building a network for client referrals.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities while meeting daily performance metrics.
• Engage in learning procedures such as processing transactions, managing cash drawers, and completing banking paperwork in compliance with industry and legal standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Excel in a fast-paced, sales-oriented team environment, using coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Leverage product knowledge and communication skills to address client needs and positively impact their financial well-being.
• Effectively communicate ideas, project a positive image, and take pride in problem-solving and achieving positive outcomes.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in paperwork and explaining features and benefits.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of retail or customer service experience involving client interactions, product recommendations, and sales.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
• Eligibility to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
